JobFold

  • Customer to quote to invoice workflow
  • Built for one-person local service businesses
  • Recurring jobs, reminders, and business metrics

Product overview

JobFold is an iPhone-first operations app for solo service business owners who want to run their day-to-day work without heavy field service software. It combines customer management, quotes, approvals, scheduling, jobs, invoices, reminders, recurring visits, and business tracking into one practical mobile workflow.

Why it was designed

JobFold was designed for one-person local service businesses such as window cleaners, pressure washers, gutter cleaners, lawn care professionals, and mobile detailers. These operators often juggle every part of the business themselves while moving between job sites.

Most tools in this category are built for larger teams and come with complexity that slows solo operators down. The goal with JobFold was to design a cleaner iPhone experience that keeps daily operations professional and organized, while staying fast enough for real field work.

Product decisions

Decision 01

A full customer-to-payment workflow

The core flow is intentionally end-to-end: customer to quote to approval to scheduled job to completed job to invoice to paid. Keeping this path connected in one place helps solo operators avoid context switching across multiple tools.

Decision 02

Built for one-person businesses

JobFold avoids large-team complexity by focusing on the needs of a single operator. Customer records, addresses, contact details, quotes, jobs, and invoices are all optimized for fast individual use rather than team-heavy workflows.

Decision 03

Field-ready execution tools

On-site work requires more than scheduling. JobFold includes built-in task lists plus photos and attachments across customers, quotes, jobs, and invoices so important job context stays linked to the work itself.

Decision 04

Reminders and recurring service support

The app supports reminders for quotes, jobs, invoices, and recurring services, along with recurring job management that can automatically create new visits. This keeps repeat business organized without manual tracking overhead.

Decision 05

Professional invoicing and business visibility

Professional PDF quotes and invoices, payment tracking states, and core metrics like revenue, outstanding invoices, approval rate, and repeat customers give solo operators clearer control over daily operations and cash flow.

Outcome

JobFold aims to make solo service work feel structured, practical, and professional from first contact to final payment. Instead of relying on scattered notes, messages, and spreadsheets, users get one focused iPhone workflow for customers, quotes, jobs, invoices, reminders, recurring services, and business performance tracking. The onboarding model stays approachable with a free 10-day trial followed by simple monthly or annual pricing.
